  • TAKE ME WITH YOU! I lived in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for a little over a year, and the worst that ever happened was bad thunderstorms and the *risk* of tornados. It was absolutely beautiful there, and now I'm back in Lansing :(
  • Hawaii is always around 70 degrees
  • Arizona.
  • Hawaii is warm year round but not free from natural disasters. How many disasters will be acceptable to you? There is no place on earth that is immune to natural disasters.
  • Utah never has a whole lot of natural disasters. I think a minor tornado when I was a little girl. We get quite a bit of snow at times, but not at the bottom of the state. I love Utah. It's really a nice place to live.
  • A lot of people move to Tennessee from Michigan. we have the four seasons of the year. we have more sunshine than the state of Florida. rain is normal. snowfall averages 1-2 inches a year and then its time for more sunshine. Nineties in the summertime and around 30 degrees for the wintertime average. Lived here all my life. Come on down.
  • Texas is nice. Central Texas especially, lots of trees and rolling hills.
  • BOULDER, COLORADO.....I swear....check the weather statistics....it can get very cold at night....but the highs in January can be in the 60's......check it out
  • Hawaii... depends on what island you live on thought for minimal natural disasters... stay away from Maui and Big Island :) Or California! :)
  • I was wondering that same thing, which is what brought me to this site. I live in NJ and we are expecting a huge snow storm. I hate winter and I find myself asking the same question every year. What am I doing here??? I think Hawaii is the place for me. Thinking strongly about it. LS
  • i thought hawaii also but gas is 4.50 + a gal and milk is 7.99 gal. a single bed apt is 900.00 a month. arizona 4 me just gotta deal with the heat
  • FInd a nice spot in California, especially around the bay area. The earthquake thing is not as big as they make it sound, and the 300+ days of sunshine is worth the risk. Screw LA, unless you want to live in San Diego, but Northern CA is much better.
  • Probably Arizona.
  • OMG CALIFORNIA TOTALLY L.A!!!
  • Atlanta, Georgia. Hotlanta. Winters are in Atlanta, but snow hardly falls down on the city. I grew up there and it gets pretty hot and humid during the summers. I've lived in Atlanta most of my life, and never heard of natural disasters hitting the area, except once. It was a tornado.
