Could a girl still get pregnant if the guy doesnt finish inside her?

She sure can because pre-ejaculate contains live sperm. And she can even get preganant if he gets the fluid anywhere near that area without having sex. So if it's on his hands and they are inserted you can still get knocked up. And you can't ever be sure that by using the pull out method some of the full ejaculate didn't get released because that starts to leak out before the big bang. That's why it has the highest failure rate of all forms of birth control. Somewhere near 90%.
And can you really trust some guy to pull out before he's done? Especially if he's the one telling you this. Or to be able to contol an involentary reaction? Not on your life. It's like playing Russian Roulette.

The fact is we don't teach them anything any more. The Christain Right has basicly gagged any real sex education in the schools. And you know parents aren't going to do it.The level of sheer stupidity when it comes to sex and all it entails just boggles my mind. They all think this is just something you do to be popular or you're bored. And you know they're not using B.C. becasue they think it's nothing to have an abortion because they're not taught about that either. I plan on grossing my sons out so bad they won't want to have sex at 12 like their classmates. And the fact they're not dating till 17 might help too.

yeah, some nice pictures of STDs could come in handy. i definitely knew what a big deal abortion was (thanks religion) at a young age, but school just taught us to abstain. after days and days of going on about abstinence, i think they threw in a 5 minute bit about using condoms because STDs are bad, oh and there's this thing that exists & it's called birth control. that was pretty much it! and, then people wondered why there were so many pregnant girls in my high school?!

See that's what I don't get. We spend all this time and energy giving kids all the facts about drugs so they won't do them. And then say teaching them about sex will make them want to do it even more. Total bull. The better educated they are about sex the less likely they are to do it. And the media doesn't help to teach them to behave. I saw a book series at Wal-Mart that was nothing but sex and drugs with no consequences. Here's the really messed up part, I also saw the books discussed on Geraldo and one ten councler said "At least they're reading. And maybe they talk to their parents about what they read. These books could open up a dialog." I want to know what this chick was smoking. And the parents aren't much better morality wise. Their the ones that are teaching there kids to act like this just as much as the media. I mean who would you want to be at 14, the wife who gets left holding the bag after years of being ignored and disrespected? Or the stripper/ porn star daddy gives all of his attention and money too? That's why we 14 year old girls doing strip teases on youtube for their classmates. And boys that treat girls like pieces of meat to be used and thrown a way. Why not, look at mom and dad.

it makes so much more sense now! just to be clear, you are saying that if kids are educated about safe sex, then they are less likely to practice unsafe-sex? or do you think they are less likely to have sex in general if they are educated about it? and, the drug education... well, i can get started on THAT later! :)

They're less likely to have sex till they're much older and they are more likely to practice safe sex with a stable partner when they do. Look at Europe, their sex education starts much earlier and is more complete, yet they have the lowest levels of teen pregnancy, STDs, and they lose their virginity later. They also have more stable relationships.And are more likely to report sexual assults. And the drug education is getting raped and pilliaged now too. Doesn't help when kids get the message at school not to and then they go home to parents who are recreational drug users or tell the kids it's okay to do it so long as you don't get caught. Like those parents who let them drink at home and then belive the kid won't do it elsewhere or it's safer that way. When in reality they're more likely to drink exesively or do drugs outside of the home because mom and dad say it's okay to break the law. And they are experianced and can handle it. As the car their driving makes them one more statistic.Kind of defeats the purpose of having laws when you teach people to ignore the ones they don't like at 16.

understood. i am with you; i think sex education needs to be done better (and possibly earlier as well) in the US! now, as far as drug eduation goes... my opinion depends on which program they use. some of them seem to make kids more curious than anything else. there was a study done on the D.A.R.E. program, and kids who had been through that were more likely to do drugs than ones who hadn't had any drug education!

(I had to edit my last comment to get it all in.)I can belive it because DARE leaves a lot of stuff out. And Panda's just something you do for your college application. I think it's better to show them the ugly, graffic truth on that one too. If anyone wants they can take their kid to go see my druggie brother at the homeless shelter he has to live in. All that talent wasted on pot, alcholo, and meth. I also think a trip to the morgue or jail does wonders for one's opinion on crack.

arg! i just typed a long comment two times and it got "lost"... first off, i'm sorry to hear that about your brother. i do think it's important to show kids the worst case scenerio of drugs, but also to teach them about the more common scenerio as well. i saw this based on my personal experience.

so, i was about 14 and determined drugs were bad, although i did have friends who used them. then, i had "drug education". they really focused on the horror stories. i got the idea that if i ever smoked meth, i'd overdose. if i did acid, i'd think i could fly and jump off a building. i don't remember them mentioning that these things can happen, but are less common. many people don't overdose on meth, but they do ruin their lives, teeth, and brain. that seems more common. anyhow, after seeing some of my friends use drugs and not have the outcomes that i expected based on my "education", i thought the system was feeding my BS. if one thing they said was wrong, how could i trust them about any of it?

i saw people who did meth many times and never ODed. it seemed like there were no negative consequences. of course, i realize there are now that i'm older. the more common scenerio with meth users seems to involve bad health and a decline in quality of life over the years (and paranoia). however, at the time, i couldn't see any negative repercussions and started to reconsider my opinion on drugs. i also saw people who took LSD, but didn't jump off any buildings.

that made more more curious than ever and prior to that "education", i didn't have that at all! luckily, the circumstances and people in my life have helped so that things have gone my way. however, i see how i could have easily gone the other direction and possibly ended up in the same situation as your brother. i think it's important to be honest with kids. teach them about the worst case scenerio, but also let them know the typical scenerio as well. it might not scare them straight, but at least you'll be credible later.

But that's just it. The common result is the worst case scenerio. The other stuff is above and beyond. You don't have to die from it to have your life ruined. And as for the meth overdoses the more commonly it's used the more OD's you get. It happens quite frequently around here. We have a large population of meth users and someone dies weekly because of it.Either from an OD, a murder, or a meth lab blowing up. And more rapes, child abuse, and burgluries too. That's all the horror I need to tell me it's not a good idea.

yeah, it's most definitely not a good idea and there generally is a lot of crappy resulting things happening from it. i disagree that the most common result is the worst case scenerio. let's agree to disagree on that one! regardless, i still don't think it's a good idea, so i hope that's not the impression i give people. i just think it's important to be fully honest with kids and teenagers about these things. part of that includes all the ugly things you have listed.
