I was the manager of Men's Sportwear at Robinsons-May in Glendale, CA. She had just been hired to manage the Ralph Lauren department. She walked into my stock room on February 11, 1996 and my very first thought of my future wife was, "Those are some amazing legs!"

We ended up going to a bar/club. I went because it was a block from my house and a friend of mine was a waitress there. He went because he knew one of the bartenders there. When I walked in I saw him on the second floor landing in front by the band and I told my friend "see that guy, that's the one I'm going to marry". (Love at first sight). She said "yeah sure". I asked her to get him a beer from me and not tell him, because I wanted to use that to introduce myself. He asked the bartender, who asked the waitress who bought him a beer and he came over to say thanks. We talked from 9pm. until closing at 4am. Then went to breakfast at a diner. He took me home and then came back to take me out to dinner. By that Monday (2days later) we decided to get married. We married 5 weeks later (we waited for my friend to get back from vacation). We didn't tell anyone except for my best-friend and my mom who lived in another state. So when we met at the Justice of the Peace house, I made him call his mom at work to come there. (She didn't know why and we only met once), so when she showed up at the address he gave her she was completely unaware. She was late arriving and when he told her what was going on, we had to wait until she recovered from the shock. We then swore her to secrecy, because his family was going to be together for Thanksgiving in two day, and we wanted to spring the news then. When we arrived on Thanksgiving, we purposely came late, so everyone would be just sitting down for dinner. We bought some Champagne and we held hands to hide the rings. Everyone thought we were announcing our engagement and we caused major shock when we told them we were already married. We eventually had a small church wedding exactly 5 months later (already planned, but couldn't wait). We been married for almost 23 years now and have a 11year old daughter.

We met in high school after being encouraged by our teacher to meet each other. I believe I was coming out of a classroom and she introduced herself and said we needed to talk about starting a Bible Study group. According to Andrea, I jumped up and down shouting, "Yes! Yes! Yes!." Her memory is better than mine, but 3 or 4 years later, we were married - and still are after nearly 32 years.

My husband and I met while working on a theatre festival in Charleston, SC known as Spoleto. Our team, know as Special Projects, was responsible for building the sets and also a ridiculous number of other things amongst the various crews pulling together the festival. We were both "carpenters" but mostly we were just slave labor. We moved in together the night we met, and worked 16-20 hour days for 6 weeks and went home to the same room every night. Instead of hating each other, like the rest of the crews, we ended up falling in love, against both of our wishes, and we have been happily married ever since.

I had know who he was for awhile like our paths had crossed alot, but after I split up with my husband i moved back home and was working in a coffee shop and him and his cousin which i knew well started comeing in alot and one night this girl i worked with was haveing a party and invited both of us. We have been together ever since.

We have been best friends since we were 12. We moved to the same small town on the same day. We were both from big cities so we kind of understood each other. The rest of the kids at school were into farming and stuff so we would just hang out at my house and play video games and stuff. When we were 15 we promised each other we would get married whenever we got out of that town. I ended up getting pregant when I was 18, But we still got out and got married!
