How many ppl do you know with HIV/AIDS?

(Include your age, ethnicity, economic status, sexual orientation, general location)

Only include what you want to. I really don't want to touch on a spore subject but was genuinely curious.

A few, but we all know what the high-risk groups are, and why. Homosexual men, heroin users, and poor African Americans are the high-risk groups. HIV generally results from engaging in high-risk behavior, so avoid high-risk behavior such as sharing drug needles and having unprotected sex, especially anal, and especially with someone who belongs to a high-risk group.

- Like I said, a few. Actually, more than a few. I'm 36, white mixed, straight, and lower middle class from Chicago. Those I know with HIV are all in high-risk groups.

- k, i apologize I just didn't want these answers to be too opinionated...if at all possible. I kind of had the feeling I'd catch a lot of emotionally fueled responses. hoping to hear the objective answers really.

2 that I know of.

My step-cousin had Aids and he got tired of all the pills he had to take, and killed himself.
He was raped by an older man when he was 16 and became gay.
26 yrs old, Caucasian, Middle class, - South Philly.

My X's step-mom has a few gay friends and I remember one guy, very good-looking and very nice. He died from Aids. 35 yrs old,Hispanic, Middle class, - Philadelphia.
