How do I get out of this relationship?

I've been unhappy in a relationship and I'm trying to get out of it but my bf keeps giving me a hard time and won't let me leave, what should I do?

    He only has power over you when you allow him to have it. Pack up and move out and go somewhere you feel safe.

    He can't "not let you leave". Don't ask permission, just inform him that you are no longer his girlfriend, period.

    Dont let him make you feel bad for leaving him because you are unhappy.. just leave him and dont go back but keep going forward and you will find some light at the end of the tunnel :)

    If he physically will not let you leave, call the police; 911 is a good number. They may even help you carry out your stuff.
