Our HOA management company frequently forgets to send us the meeting minutes. What can be done and can they be fined?

    the HOA meeting Minutes are available if you order them from the HOA. There is usually a charge. In my experience it can be $5.00 - 10.00 per month copy. It is the law that when you purchase a property, that you are provided either by the Seller cost, or by the Buyer cost, the last 12 months meeting minutes for your review. It is part of the California Real Estate Purchase contract contingency. The Management companies for HOA's are under no jurisdiction, and they have their own Rules they abide by or don't. If your HOA sent you copies at one time, then they were gracious, because they normally don't unless you order them.
