Do you have an 18-24 month old?..see description

How many naps does your 18-24 month old take during day? How long are naps? Do you find that the later he/she goes to sleep (after 11 pm), they are able to sleep through the night?

I have a 27-month-old. For at least the last 9 months, he has usually had a long nap most afternoons: 1.5 - 3 hours. He gets up around 8 AM and goes to bed often after 9 PM.

He is incredibly cute. I realize that's not relevant.

My two and one year old boys don't sleep during the day because they are at preschool from 10am-3pm. They go to bed in the evenings at 7pm and they sleep until around 8am. At the weekend when they are not at preschool my wife and I encourage them to nap, however, they don't like to so we don't force them.

My daughter is almost 18 months. She is currently transitioning from two 1-2 hour naps to one nap that is 2-2.5 hours long. She generally sleeps from 830-9pm until 7-730am; unless she is sick, or is having bad teething pain, she sleeps through the night. If she gets to bed late, she sleeps just as well, but generally has a rough day and has trouble getting up.
