    i play in one, and was duped into it with the belief that we wouldn't be playing the same old cheesy shit like everyone else, i was told we would only play what we all liked…

    as we got more tunes i realised that is not the case, and the mold has not been broke, so we need to play the same old shit that every other shitty wedding band plays , that the masses want, and the majority have been so brainwashed and conditioned into liking the latest shit that the charts pumps out, its all they want, most of the population have never appreciated real music. and it is really sad to me.

    so then playing these tunes that you hate, over and over…. in rehearsal…

    all I'm saying is, look at it as a money maker. i have a couple of side projects for my creative input, this is money only. a job to me. if this was all i had it would really be a drag.

    i think it depends on the individual, i personally don't really like playing in a wedding band, as its mostly shit tunes.

    but the money is ok.
