    The time is steadily draining away constantly, and everything we look at as far away is, nevertheless, inevitable and coming faster than we generally look at it as coming. Next Christmas is, indeed, on its way and fast approaching--at least that's how I personally see time, but I understand this view is a matter of personal perspective entirely.
