    Yes. When I was a boy living in Muncie, Indiana with my grandparents there were railroad tracks about 300 yards from the house. Hobos who rode the freight trains would knock on the door for a handout. My dear grandmother would always see that they had something fit to eat. She was a good woman.

    Never. We just don't have homeless people walking around like that where I live. There are shelters and other agencies available to help.

    No, not where I live. What is interesting is generally you don't see that type of thing, at least I haven't. I have seen homeless person's in the city on the street but not going from house to house.

    No, but I had a homeless man sleep on my trampoline when I was little. Not the best experience to walk outside to use your new trampoline to find some guy there..

    I had a homeless family come to my door. My husband made the mistake of giving them some yard work, and then they wouldn't leave us alone.

    Yes. And I'm going back a long time , to when I was a youngster, my mother caught me feeding a sandwich and tea to an old guy who happened to turn up at our door . I even gave him the milk that we kept for the cat . My mother was not amused, neither was the cat . hehehe ..

    Never had one knocking at my door, but we found some living in these huge bushes and trees a little ways from my house. They broke into my neighbours house and stole some stuff. When we figured out what was up, we took care of them.
