    I have. Back when I used to get a perm many years ago, hair gel used to help the curl maintain a certain shape and bounciness. I haven't used it since I stopped getting permanent waves.

    Sometimes, I'm more of a hairspray dude though!

    I keep a can of hairspray in my cars cupholder, because some of MY hairstyles are of "Gaga-esque" proportions! ^^

    then i learned to use mousse or hair spray instead (i recommend TRESemme). or hair wax. anything but hair gel!

    I had this AWESOME hair wax back when I had a pixi cut and would spike the back went on clear but you turned on the black light it was neon orange!..wish I could remember who made that.
