• Your dad hu?
  My wife is from Italy(born/raised) and can make meatballs (polpette) that you would kill for.
  
  You know they don't have meatball subs in Italy? Thats just not right. My wife thought I was nuts the first time she saw me do it with her famous polpette.

• My grand-parents come from Sicily/Palermo.
  They never heard of it either, but my dad's second wife was Italian, and her father was the inventor of the "Hoagie".
  
  It was first called "Hoggie" because it was meant to feed the hungry immigrants who came to Ellis Island, NY.
  
  My stepmom was in the 'food' industry because of her dad and she started the recipe for the infamous meatballs that my dad now makes.
  
  Italy is missing some good stuff!

• Nice. I lived in Sicily for almost 10 years. Use to drive to Palermo almost every month.
  Sicily has the best food.
  My wife is from Catania, the other side of Sicily.

• My dad told me I have relatives in Sicily. It would be nice to meet them one day. Gotta taste that good food too!
