If someone answers your question and they have a completely different view from yours, do you still click 'like'?

When I give Asker's Picks, why does it say "What's this?" in brackets after my name?

You give Asker's Pick to answers that make the best sense, right? Ever given Asker's Pick to an answer that was nonsense? Why?

You're reading My preposterous yet benign answer to: 'Do You Have a "Number One Rule" in Life? If so, what's it?' apparently got wiped - why?

That is probably what happened. What gets me is that AB does not automatically forward you to that earlier version and you have to go and search it out, if you can find it at all. I got notifications on two questions I answered some time ago that got merged and for the life of me I can't find them. I would love to read what someone else thinks. Oh well. Good day and good luck.

You are usually directed to where your answer ended up .. but I know it's not always consistent.
I would just go back to your profile ... under your answers and click on your response. You should be taken to the merged question. If not, you can always do a search for the question in the Google Search box. That will sometimes take you right to all questions like it.
