My preposterous yet benign answer to: 'Do You Have a "Number One Rule" in Life? If so, what's it?' apparently got wiped - why?

The entire question was pulled .. or merged as a duplicate. It's hard to tell. I'm sure it had nothing to do with your response.

I would check back tomorrow and see if it reappears under an earlier version of the question.

- That is probably what happened. What gets me is that AB does not automatically forward you to that earlier version and you have to go and search it out, if you can find it at all. I got notifications on two questions I answered some time ago that got merged and for the life of me I can't find them. I would love to read what someone else thinks. Oh well. - You are usually directed to where your answer ended up .. but I know it's not always consistent.
  
  I would just go back to your profile ... under your answers and click on your response. You should be taken to the merged question. If not, you can always do a search for the question in the Google Search box. That will sometimes take you right to all questions like it.

I don't know what your answer was but it could be that others on that thread made comments that were unacceptable.Additionally, sometimes what you think is benign may not be considered such by others. It could simply be a matter of misunderstanding because words means different things to different people. I would ask a Community Leader to find out why. We AB members are not privy to such goings on behind the scenes but a CL is. Good luck and Happy Friday.
