Help answer this question below.

Would you ever be able to feel secure in a relationship when it starts off with the other person

telling you they still have feelings for their ex, and that they want to date other people? If that person shows you nude text photos of their booty calls when you first start dating?

Once the relationship is exclusive would you be able to trust that person?

I would not be in a relationship with someone that disrespectful.

I would not know...I would never dream of starting a relationship with this sort of person....p.s. don't let him take any pics...

Question is not whether you would be able to feel secure but why you were so careless as to get involved with them to begin with.

- That is an excellent question, and I am beating myself up over it now because I ended up causing myself a lot of pain. I think his positive qualities matched with my desire to be in a relationship overrode the red flags.

- That sounds about right to me. There are really no certainties in life anyway but just riding blissfully over all the red flags seems like asking for it! Don't beat yourself up over it - just learn from it and move on.
