• Some words, like 'ask' (where 'axe' is often substituted) may be physically unattainable for some people, so one has to be sympathetic. This inability to pronounce applies to a Chinese person speaking English (flyed lice) and an Englishman trying his hand at Chinese (the mountain throws naked vultures at dead peasants*).
