    It makes sense if you do it with common sense ... remembering not to be too trusting until you have good reason to do so.

    How else can you meet people? I always talk to random individuals and most of the time they are really neat, plus you get to learn a thing or two. It also teaches you how looks can be deceiving. Try talking to someone you would have never imagined speaking to and I bet you will be surprised.

    Absolutely! Socializing with strangers is probably one of the easiest ways to make friends and some of whom may end up being life long ones. I used to hate when I was out with my parents when I was younger and they'd strike up a convo with some random person and always thought, " Id never do that" and now, years later, I find myself doing EXACTLY that. Funny how that works..
