    Asker's Pick

Selected by the asker, נα∂є. (What's this?)

I would dedicate every fiber of my being to making them extinct. I HATE spiders. There is a crack that leads to hell somewhere and thats where they crawl out.

Don't put those visuals in my head...uuuyhhhahaaarrrrg

Lobsters are close to spiders. The spiders are arachnids and the lobster is a crustacean, they are related. Lobsters, like insects, belong to the invertebrate phylum Arthropoda. Besides lobsters and insects, spiders and snails belong to this group as well. These animals are closely related because of two main characteristics that they share: they all have an exoskeleton (outer skeleton) and they all have joint appendages.

They both fall under the subphylum Chelicerata, and so do crabs, scorpions, centipedes, etc.

So most likely the the "spider" would have ended up on human plates a long time ago, eaten with melted butter and pliers would have been one of humanity's earliest inventions.

A high oxygen, low gravity world? We'd still be big enough to stomp them. lol Or we might use them for food, pets, or labor.
