Why? Try to honestly evaluate his character without considering his past incarceration; we live and grow by our experiences, be they positive or negative. I have been imprisoned, and believe that the experience built and strengthened my character, although there are some who become embittered and hateful under similar circumstances. It is what he is NOW that counts, not what made him.

only if it doesnt affect him.
my friend went in to prison for 4-6 years because he was drunk driving and he killed a girl. her husband was badly hurt.
he says that he doesnt remember the crash, only that they had to extricate from his car. the car was totaled

I wouldn't risk it. You'll probably be the victim of their next crime

Of course you ask. I wouldn't dwell too much on the past but just ask and get it over with since you are curious.

Depends on how well you know the person.

I would think that if you knew someone well, they would have told you they were in prison and even why.

It might be nice to know .. but it's really not your business unless they want to tell you.

Obviously some evil white cop took offense to their darker skin tone and planted drugs on them, unless they're white then they actually did something.
