As I was browsing the iTunes app store I saw an app for Redbox! Read description please. Any help?

Is it possible to hook up your iPod to a player and screen the movie to a television? If so what type of cord/ device would I need?

    You need to buy Apple's composite or component AV cables. They're expensive and overpriced but your only option. Apple made it so that 3rd party cables and those cheap $12 ones from RadioShack or the flea market won't work.


    Most important don't waste your time and money.....it's the equivalent of hooking up the iPod to large home speakers.
    Technically you can do it but quality's gonna sux.

    The iPod's resolution will be very low. (960-by-640-pixels)

    You could always try using your USB connector and plug it into the USB jack of your HDTV. It all depends on the particular HDTV make/model. But the resulting video would be very pixelated. Remember that iPod devices are very locked down, you likely will not be able to navigate to the folder the movie is in, that's why I personally avoid Apple products like that.
