    Unfortunately yes, as long as there are those who believe in violence and adhere to strict codes that state an objection to total freedom. Persons who hold their beliefs sacred will do anything they can to oppose freedom.

    I hate the concept of Terrorism..it's a word defined differently by many and subject to being in the eye of the beholder. Once upon a time America was founded by "terrorists". Terrorism is so loosely defined and thrown around now days that just about any one with an opinion that goes against the status quo regarding politics is a potential terrorist. Forms of terrorism have been around for centuries and history and time have decided who went down in the books as a terrorist and who went down as revolutionary freedom fighters or whatever. It's all subjective and by no means (IMO) a thing that could be defined or pinpointed to 1 singular agenda or cause or nation or belief and surely not something cohesive enough to provoke a "WAR ON TERROR". Terrorsim is just the name of the current boogeyman the powers that be have come up with to scare people and justify a perpetual war on a faceless enemy...a war that cannot be won or lost, but merely exists to exist...mostly for profit.

    As long as there are wars and politics and greed and people that can be manipulated and scared out of their freedoms then there will always be an excuse for the existence of such a concept as "terrorism".

    They love it. It's the perfect enemy. It requires no geographic boundaries, no political affiliations, no clear ideology...

    If they want to come after you... POOF!... You're a terrorist.

    Why would they ever want that to end?

    That would depend on your definition of terrorism. Mine is any act of aggression that results in murder, mayhem, injury, rape, child abuse, spouse abuse, property damage etc. So terrorism is here to stay. And such violence doesn't require religion as a motivator.
