    Most city health codes call for people that are handling food to wear a head cover..A manager should lead by example...Of course he should have a head cover on when handling food...

    Yes, anyone handling food in the kitchen should wear a hat. I do not like hair in my food.

    Yes, I do think so, although Basil Fawlty didn't usually wear one when he was in the kitchen.

    I think minimally they should wear a hair net ... or a hat, yes.

    I even see men with beards wearing "nets" around them in food preparation areas.

    Health Dept. sanitation codes do call for that now. It's a good thing too.

    I've seen some food preparation areas where a headcover would be among the least of hygienic issues to worry about...if ya know what I mean.
