My RCA F27664 television suddenly stopped playing audio from cable. It still plays audio from my DVD player. I've tried the audio out but that doesn't work either. The cable works on my other TV. Can this be fixed?

  My RCA Tv picture is fine but there is an annoying High pitch sound coming from the tv it can last from 1 minute to 8 hours its the sound only a dog should hear Can anybody tell me whats wrong? when i mute the sound it's still there.

  I have a 32"RCA PIP tv abt 8yrs old.it is connected with a Direct tv box and a vcr/dvd player it has been working. we watched a dvd this am and now that the satellite is on we have no sound. any suggestions? cant afford a new tv.
