Jackson never actually experienced childhood thanks to his father's ambitious nature, hence his compulsion to spend his adulthood as a child among children. Unfortunately, his attempts to live out the childhood of which he was deprived came with an adult sex-drive and the wherewithal to finance his dreams.
The poem, although having no literary value, is a genuine cry for understanding.

That he obviously missed out on his childhood or that he's a pedo.

I truly think he's not a pedo just someone who missed out on childhood and had the money to live like one and play like one.

It basically means that Jackson never had a childhood. I think as others have already pointed out, he wasn't given the chance to live life as a child. He was so busy being groomed to be a superstar along with his brothers, that he didn't have time to be a kid. Traveling on the road, singing multiple nights a week, and having to grow up so quickly due to the image of television and your fans, there is no wonder that he turned out to be as eccentric and different as he did. That poem is a testament to the things he never had, and that was a healthy childhood.

Not much anil. It is definitely something a child would write. It isn't particularly unique. Everything about Jackson is very sad including this poem. Perhaps all the people who fed off him through the years feel gullty now at using/abusing him.. His childhood was not a wonder in his youth. So searching for something that never existed doesn't make sense. His childhood was miserable. So the poem doesn't reflect his truth. If a poem doesn't reflect truth you can't take it seriously.

Poor Michael......rich, yet so, so poor. I would probably read some of his poetry. I wouldn't buy it.

Well, he never forgave his father, for fast forwarding his childhood into adultship.
