    I believe that my spirit will leave my body and enter the Lords presence at death and there I will be until his return.

    Paul says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I think our soul or spirit goes to be with the Lord. We are in spirit form until the resurrection then we get a new body.

    at death the soul will die(ezekiel 18:4)the spirit being the active force in my body that fuels my body will also cease to exist at death. this is the reason Jesus Christ died on behalf of all humans whose life ceases to exist at death. upon Jesus laying his life down for mankind he now makes it possible for a hope of the earthly resurrection for most of those that die(john 5:28,29)

    I am not a Christian. Usually God will resurrect the spirits to life following a burial then transport them to Heaven for a tour before they proceed to the next destination according to God’s Plan. In the case of an evil spirit God will resurrect the spirit to life then transport them to Hell for a 3 day stay then they are allowed to tour Heaven before they proceed to their next destination according to God’s Plan.
