Spanish speakers please. Is Brujo always masculine or does it become La bruja (witch) when it is used to describe a woman?

    It is my understanding that it becomes bruja when referencing a female witch or sorceress.

    yes bruja is a female witch the a or o denotes sex
    like
    hijo
    hija
    son
    daughter
    abuelo abuela grandpa grandma and so on any word for females can be used fo males by changing the last letter to the respected sex your talking about
