Well from a pure mathematical view, you have a better chance playing in the NFL. Each team has over 50 players on their roster while in basketball they only carry 12 players. So there over 4 times as many NFL players in the world as there are NBA players. ROUGH estimate NFL 30 teams times 50 players = 1500 players. NBA 30 Teams time 12 players= 360 players

nfl hands down, in the nba there is so much competition for d1 schools with summer leagues that you have to get noticed by the right person to make it.
