How can you tell when someone if someone is smoking pot, what are the signs?

Red eyes, seeming "out of it", paranoia, laziness.

No one can ever tell with me. I seem happy, but then again I almost always do... or am I always smoking... hmmmmm.

My eyes get so squinty when I smoke pot it looks like they're closed .. that's usually a good way to tell.

They laugh or giggle alot.
They are absorbed by silly things.
They suddenly like to draw.
They become incredibly stupid.

Honestly, I'd smoke one if I had one right now, but we shouldn't call it getting high. We should call it getting stupid!

if you know him well it shouldn't be too difficult to tell unless he is high most of the time! the smell will give it away and if he tried to cover it up it will just smell like he put on too much cologne. but why does it bother you so much? have you ever tried it? i don't mean to take sides but if he can function, lead a good life, and treats you well even if he smokes, it's not something that should be the cause of many of your arguments.

Unless someone knows me very well, no one can ever tell, including the police!

bloodshot (or dry eyes for a contact wearer), thirsty and a big case of the munchies. Smell can be cloaked. Paranoia...but thinking all along that "If I'm cool no one will notice..."

Make sure if you discover the person is smoking, they pass it to you next round!!!

It is very difficult if not impossible.Some say that the eyes are dilated but peoples eyes are sometimes dilated without pot.

Well if you know the person it will be pretty easy, most of the time.

*just ask them...if they are real high, they may not even think to fib before they say "yeah man."

Sleepiness, always tired, red or pink eyes, even one eye for some, forgetfulness. I think that biggest and easiest thing to look for is smell in clothes. Thats a hard odor to hide.

Well, they also may me over doing Axe. If you smell a bodyspray emitting off of someone's clothes they could be smoking pot. Someone may be too chilled out, or mellow.

there are many signs of smoking pot (marijuana) here are a few

1. the user has glossy eyes or blood shot eyes or eyes that seem they are closed
2. the munchies
3.the user wont be able to stay still for a long period of time
4. the users speech is very slow or broken up like they cant find the right words to say
5. and as a former user my girlfriend when thinking i smoke pot would have me spit and if the spit is very sticky looking or just all bubbles and takes a long time for them to spit that means they have been smoking this is called (cotton mouth)
6. and the most obvious reason would be they smell like a skunk

Red eyes(usually)...they don't make eye contact, occasional laughing(only if they're baked), thats about it...they might smell like it too

There are no signs. Pot should be legal anyway. I guess one surefire way to tell would be a drug test. The problem is though, that the more they smoke the less likely you will be able to tell. If they are used to it then they will act normal.

With my experiences, i've found that the user gets giddy and laughs a lot for no real reason. They also might have trouble walking without stumbling and such, they get hungry randomly, forget what they were saying in th middle of their sentance, and their eyes can get bloodshot. A lot of times, they won't think about a question before they answer it. If you ask them straight out if they're high, they would probably tell you.

Can the smell be similiar to cigarettes? For example Parliament cigars?

i dont like when my boyfriend smokes. ive talked to him about it and he saus that he will quit. but he also told me that if he does smoke that i will never find out. i want to prove him wrong and catch him in the act. i ask him about his eyes sometimes and he gets mad at me and just sayd his contacts are bothering him. what do i do??
