The racial makeup of the city was 85.98% White, 4.13% African American, 0.64% Native American, 1.83% Asian, 0.29% Pacific Islander, 5.20% from Race (United States Census)other races, and 1.93% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 11.02% of the population. There were 14,076 households out of which 33.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.2% were Marriagemarried couples living together, 11.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.1% were non-families. 22.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 2.99. In the city the population was spread out with 25.5% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 30.3% from 25 to 44, 23.6% from 45 to 64, and 12.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 94.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.2 males. The median income for a household in the city was $50,369, and the median income for a family was $57,955. Males had a median income of $40,734 versus $29,551 for females.
