When you wash you face with harsh soaps and cleaners, you strip the natural oils on your skin, causing it to compensate by over producing oil. If you moisturize your face after every wash (nothing too greasy), the oil balance on your skin will eventually return to normal levels. On the topic of minimizing pores, witch hazel is your best bet. It is a very effective anti-inflamatory that is known to shrink pores noticably (a main ingredient in better toners on the market, however in its pure form at fraction of the price). It also brings down any redness on your skin, evening out your tone. Just moisten a cotton ball with some and swab it all over your face like you would with toner, then moisturize over. Hope I helped!

Have you tried tea tree oil for the oily skin? It's a natural healer and should reduce the oil. If you use harsh chemicals, like peroxide, your body will only produce more oil. I don't know how to get rid of large pores. If you tan, you should probably stop. It makes pores larger, but I can't think of anything I've heard to reduce pore size. You can't get rid of pores. You can only make them smaller.
