My brother is usually a very nice person, but I will leave the house in the morning with a full pot of leftovers to come home to for dinner and by the time I get home, the pot is gone and he is physically sick from eating so much. Why does he do this? He is costing me so much money!

I'm not a doctor, so I have no idea if he has a mental or physcial problem or both. I would only guess at it as simple greed. He doesn't know how to share or cares to share. He only thinks of himself, he sounds greedy. Maybe if he had some empathy for you, his own sibling's feeling of being hungry and going broke trying to feed his greed, he would stop. Try not having so much food around, since he needs help in controlling himself.
