You're reading So, is anyone shocked...SHOCKED that the real reason we attacked Libya is Gaddafi wanted a bigger cut of the oil profits?

What, you mean it wasn't because Saddam Hussein was responsible for 9/11?
I'm shocked...SHOCKED!....;-D...

Bush confirmed himself that there wasn't any proof that Saddam had anything to do with 9/11

So did Dick Cheney:

The big problem was that 10 yrs ago or so the US discovered
-That Saudi Arabia has 40% less oil reserves than they thought.
-That Iraq has twice the oil reserves they thought.
-That Afghanistan has way more oil than they thought:
Quote:
American Association of Petroleum Geologists
announcement that the U.S. Geological Survey had identified undiscovered oil reserves 18 times the amount originally thought in a certain location and three times the amount of natural gas there

Then the State Dept and the Prez had to reconsider their 'politics'
Too bad for Saddam and for the Iraquis, bad for Afghanistan , bad for Qaddaffi but that's life...

@Czar_K - I knew that Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11. I knew that 9/11 was the excuse to invade Iraq.
I was poking fun at the Idiot Americans who ignore these obvious truths.
I knew that there was evidence Saudi Arabia was vastly overestimating its reserves. I did not know about the discovery of larger finds in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Thanks for the links. Hopefully people will read them and get educated.
