Help answer this question below.

On my Misakai MTV 1901A 19 inch TV, the power supply transformer overheats and the TV shuts down. Should I replace the transformer and if so, where can I find one?

    If the transformer overheats, that doesn't mean it's because of the transformer.

    If something downstream of the transformer is pulling too much current, replacing the transformer will not solve the problem. the TV shuts down to protect the transformer.

    In all liklihood, the problem is not the transformer...
