What do you feel about kate middleton being called a commoner?

It's just a way to say she's a regular everyday person. It's not a negative thing .. as far as I know. If she doesn't have "royal" blood or connections, she would be a commoner.

Anyway ... she's not "common" anymore!!!

Does she have Royal blood? I think it is statement of fact. I don't think it is an insult or criticism. Do you?

I feel okay about it . Because that's what she was. She did not become considered Royal until she married William . But neither was William's Great Grandmother a royal until she got married , she was plain Elizabeth Bowes Lyon , and was the present Queens mother . Not even William's own mother Diana Spencer was considered royal until she married his father Prince Charles. It didn't do the royal family any harm and it didn't stop the British people from loving them . Just the same way that I think they will take Kate to their hearts .

- I think Diana had some royal "connections" via her father .. he worked for them in some capacity. He had a title too I believe. So, she wasn't really considered a commoner as Kate is.

- You're right Mrs. Cleaver Diana was part of the British aristocracy and was a direct descendant from Charles II and was known as Lady Diana before her marriage to Charles and of course her father was an Earl. She was far more up the social ladder than Kate who is just a middle class girl.
