I have an addictive personality. I've been able to kick my addictions to drugs and booze with lots and lots of help and support.
Willpower comes and goes in waves for me, but I've changed my lifestyle enough where I don't go back to those things when I'm feeling weak.
I do get addicted to other things, like right now, I'm on a "Angus Beef with Mushrooms and Swiss cheese burger from McDonalds" kick. Man, that's good eatin'

No one really ever kicks an addiction. you build up a strength to avoid it but deep down it is still there...
and its a BITCH of a thing.
