    the most common name for the 5 pointed star is pentagram or a pentacle .
    some say a pentacle is a pentagram with a circle around it ,
    some call both a pentagram with or without a circle .
    it is used in many cultures around the world and throughout history.
    christians used it , pagans use it , wiccans use it . etc etc ...
    and satanist use an inverted one .

    and the star of david is not a pentagram .. it has 6 points .
