    Interesting essay topic. Here's my thought, The Aeneid represents the ancient Roman side, and Star Wars in it's may the force be with you may plausibly stem from Asian sources, as in Taoism. Both have an element of the supernatural, one being more on the mythological side, the other being a tad more on the philosophical/enlightenment side. As to the specifics of the stories, I don't know, it's been a while since I delved into them, Skywalker frees a planet or something, and Aeneas defeats an army to establish a country, maybe elaborate on politics and environmentalism.
