Does Monk's pepper or Chastity tree have any uses in occultism and herbalism, aka herbal magick ?

• Oops! About 99% of witches are female, and the males generally call themselves warlocks, so it was an easy mistake.

• Understand the confusion, however TAW as a male witch would not typically identify as a warlock as the term actually means an, oath breaker or deceiver.
  
  For the most part witches, both male and female, are just known as witches, without a gender delineation:) If you enter into a traditional coven situation then you will see a delineation as to whether it has a hi priest and/or hi priestess or similar term, but most solitaries and even some non traditional covens do not bother to delineate.
  
  Some people state, that the term is used by male witches following the Scottish traditions... I've never met a scottish traditional to inquire of this nor have I specifically researched it, so I can't say as to whether this is accurate or not :)
  
  Hollywood, various forms of literature, and fantasy gaming has given rise to the use of the term in over the years, and I will not comment as to whether the users of such are fluff or not... as I do not know them, However because of its negative connotations most serious male witches that I know, do not identify themselves with it, they are content with the term witch :)

  There seems to be a movement among some to re-embrace/reclaim/redefine and as such utilize the term warlock, into being utilize as a word/description to indicate being a male witch. From their perspectives I guess the thought runs along the lines of-if they were labeled as an oath-breaker etc., then the oaths they were breaking were made to the Christians... further they are taking this view to imply that as such they were "honorable" warriors for their way of life...
  
  Well... we all give words power and these words with time will either be accepted or rejected, only time will tell. However given the connotations that are still being fought, and the prejudices still faced by those of us both male and female who claim the title witch, I tend to think that they have a long, long road ahead of them before altering the mental perceptions conjured to mind by the use of the word warlock to get it to be where they want it to be :)
