You're reading What computer language was used to design Internet Explorer?
Comments
.NET isn't a computer language. there's VB .NET, C# .NET, etc.

Microsoft's .NET offers an alternative to Java and J2EE. Microsoft's Visual Studio .NET development environment incorporates over 20 different languages including RPG, COBOL and Microsoft's own C# for business programming. With all languages compiling to a common language runtime.

yeah, it does compile to a common language, but .NET in and of itself incorporates many languages (as you know).
