"Negative information stays on your credit report for seven years, except for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which stays on your credit report for 10 years. Positive information stays on your report for 10 years. Just because you no longer have the account doesn't mean that firms reviewing your credit don't need to see the payment history associated with the account."

Your credit report will show your bankruptcy filing for about 7 to 10 years. I've heard the max of 11 years, but you seem really close. :)
