  • As of the census of 2000, there were 278 people, 154 households, and 93 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 46.7/km sq (120.9/mi sq). There were 199 housing units at an average density of 33.4/km sq (86.5/mi sq). The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.32% White, 1.80% from Race (United States Census)other races, and 2.88% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.16% of the population. There were 154 households out of which 7.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.8% were Marriagemarried couples living together, 1.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.6% were non-families. 33.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.81 and the average family size was 2.20. In the CDP the population was spread out with 7.6% under the age of 18, 1.1% from 18 to 24, 14.7% from 25 to 44, 42.1% from 45 to 64, and 34.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 59 years. For every 100 females there were 104.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 110.7 males.
