my rabbit is 22 days pregnant and has been building a nest underground so i blocked off the run but now she is not making a nest inside

You should not mess with nature. You should allow the rabbit act according to her instinct.

She was building it where her instincts said the kits would be safest. Most rabbits have underground nests, to avoid predators. Yes, to a rabbit, you are a predator.

- Yes, I have owned rabbits. Even won prizes in shows. And anything that is 10 times your size and coming your direction is a predator.

that dont matter she might of finished making it and one way to cheak if she pulledout her far if no then she might do it at the last moment or if is yes then she just ready. i have a rabbit what is 22 week pregnant too and so i say dont worry and wait to the babies are here.there will be up and running around about 2 week and at the time of this there eyes should be open hope it helps

- i have had a litter before but that was a suprise lol i have the daughter who is pregnant the mum sadly died have no idea why we were very upset i have plenty of room so they babies will be staying just had the male neutured and will be doing the same with the babies im just very excited i moved her to a different shed with run she has made her nest inside i lock her up at night so she doesnt have them outside

i was sat down with misscara and she jumped into my arms for a cuddle ( yep im a predator to her lol) had my hand on her belly and felt something push out either a foot or a head she has 6 days to go and has now made her nest in the shed under a bale of hay she is very big so is now looking very pregnant cant wait for another 3 weeks for when the kits come out of nest
