  • If you're saying that you were given a ticket that was meant for somebody else in another car, then probably so. If the policeman made a typographical error in writing down your tag number, but otherwise has the facts of the case right, I doubt it.
  • No. if you were behind the wheel and committed the offense and your name and drivers lic. no are on the citation...........pay the fine. its like auto insurance, you are covered no matter what vehicle you drive. same here
  • No. a written citation is a courtesy, rather than a physical arrest. if the other pertinent information on the citation is correct, the citation is valid.
