I drink 6-12 cups of green tea with a bit of cream and sugar every day day. Is it bad for my body to drink this much tea?

    I wouldn't be worrying about the tea, I would be worrying about what I put with it. The sugar and cream.

    your overloading on the sugar and cream my wife always puts splenda in mine and it tastes good..

    Most advocates of drinking green tea for its health benefits suggest at least 2 cups per day, with others saying that 10 cups a day will give maximum benefit. Sounds like you're in the realm of suggested dosages.

    If you think it's too much, the possible symptoms of "overdose" on green tea might include restlessness, tremor, vomiting, and abdominal spasms.

    Too much of a good thing can have negative effects. They say that regular tea has good qualities too, but when you dump sugar in it and the caffeine then it is not so good anymore. I would follow the suggested amount they tell you. Good luck with the tea, I myself can't stand it...lol;)

    Actually, depending on the caffeine concentration in the particular tea you are choosing, maybe you should be concerned about the tea as well as the sugar and cream. There are some green teas with as high a caffeine concentration as 50 mg per 8 ounces. I would try to find out about it because it can cause you a lot of problems.

    you're ruining your green tea with cream!! it supposed to be healthy lol. green tea is good for you but adding cream and having so many cups a day is not good for you, ur just adding loads of fat.
