I would have caught a bus or had someone take me to work. I would have called a cab if I needed to. My company along with my proffesors never let you get away with "my car broke down" because there are plenty of ways to get back and forth that don't require a car. The "disiplinary action" is more than likely is going to be a letter in your file...As lond as you don't have lots of these, you'll be okay, just embarrassed. But if I were you, I'd get off the computer and see if I couldn't fix it, call someone or catch a bus/cab. Then again.....I LOVE to go to work..I'm a freak like that. LOL

That seems kind of harsh. At my company they are understanding to these dilemas as long as the employee phones in.

You're reading I was unable 2 travel 2 work today due 2 my car not starting outside my sisters house,which is a 2hour drive from work.I notified my manager beliving she will b understanding however she told me i would recive a diseplinery wat do i do? i feel stressed!
