If I file for custody of my kids now,can I move out w/them the same day? Their dad will not want me to take them. Im in MO. staying in state

    Just because you file for custody does not mean you are granted custody. The judge will determine if you get custody and what the terms are. If custody is granted, and the dad will not let you have them, as long as you have a court order, you can get a police escort.
