    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

A DUI alone will generally not prevent you from obtaining a nursing degree.

However, it can make it more difficult to gain admission to a nursing school and to find employment. Many school applications ask you to disclose any convictions on your record. Applicants with a pattern of reckless behavior may have a hard time entering the field.

It would be taken into account when you apply for a job. However, if you have a nursing degree from a good accredited university like Independence University, hopefully the DUI will not matter. If you haven’t already enrolled, I’d recommend you read some Independence University reviews to see if it’s the place for you.
