• Oh, if we wanted we could join a gun club, but most people don't have the interest in personal armament that you have over there. I just can't imagine having a 'favourite' gun.

• I understand that not everyone shares my enthusiasm for firearms, and that's ok... Having a favorite gun makes perfect sense to me. What I can't imagine is living in a country that doesn't allow me the freedom to protect myself in my own home. But had I been raised in England I would probably share your views... :)

  most of the guns comming into the UK these days come through eastern European/ Russian areas, along with a few Idiots who use them without a single care for people who just live life the way it should be lived
  
  if I lived in some parts of the US I would more than likely need to carry one as every other (good and bad) person has one....sad really.
  
  but your right to carry weapons, I do not object to, but the killing of school kids by people is THE.. reason why you should question issue's of gun control

• keylock, the biggest school massacre in US history was the Bath, Michigan indecent of 1927. Andrew Kehoe used TNT, not a gun, to kill 43 people, including 39 grade school children, all over a tax dispute. When do we start blaming the individual instead of the tool the individual chooses to use? Last year we had a report here in the US of a man robbing a convenience store with a Samurai sword, but no one ever said "hey, we should outlaw Samurai swords..." It's the same logic. I've been a gun owner for years. My father, grand father and great grand father were all gun owners. To date, my family has zero gun-related attacks on our record. It's not the gun that attacks, it's the individual. And if you think for a second that whack-jobs in the UK can't get their hands on guns, you're being naive. Guns are trafficked just like drugs are. Anywhere you can find drugs, you can find guns... and that's anywhere. Knife crime is rampant in the UK, but so far I haven't heard anyone talking about knife control. Why is that?

• people are going to commit crime regardlees if there aloowed to carry guns or not because if these people have no problem killing people then they have no problem breaking a law that says they cant carry a gun
