    You should only go if you want to. It's an expensive event and if you aren't really interested, why should you?

    I agree it could make for some nice memories, but only if it's something you really would enjoy.

    Go to the prom no matter what. If you get there and are not having fun leave. But do your self a favor and see if you enjoy.
    If you can not find a date, ask a friend to go. If not ask a family memebr or family friend. But go and see if you like it.
