No, Stacy does not model. Most models are quite a bit younger than Stacy's age. So, then, why didn't Stacy model when she was younger? The concept of plus size models wasn't as accepted or popular back then as it is today. When she was at Vassar, in her early 20s, she weighed around 200 pounds at that point. She would have faced an insoumantable sizism in the fashion industry if she had attempted to model when she was younger. It wasn't until she started working at Vogue Magazine that she started to shed all those pounds.
