Yes they did. We get our names for the days not from the Romans but from the Anglo-Saxons, who called most of the days after their own gods, which were roughly the same as the gods of the Romans. The day of the sun became Sunnandaeg, or Sunday.

The English words come from the Proto-Germanic words for the same days and the Proto-Germanic people were Pagans. So, in answer to your question, sort of "yes" but not really. Just as Sunday is "Sun's Day", Monday is "Moon's Day", Tuesday is "Twiw/Tyr's Day" (the Germanic/Norse god of war), Wednesday is "Woden's Day", Thursday is "Thor's Day", Friday is Freya's Day, and Saturday is "Saturn's Day".

Pagans named all the days of the week. So does that mean you worship Thor every time you say Thursday?

Actually, my understanding is that "sabbat", the base word of "sabbath" is a pagan word.
